The Copi Project is a strandline-type deposit and comprises of both Copi North (EL8312) and Sunshine (EL8385) tenements.
The Copi Project had a JORC resource of 127MT at 3.6% heavy mineral following the 2020 drill program, however the extents of deposit in terms of depth, width and length have yet to be found.
Situated in the globally recognised Murray Basin mineral sands district in New South Wales, the project is in a tier 1 location. It is 35km from Silver City Highway and 60km from established mineral sands mines.
The mineral assemblage of the deposits shows high levels of the valuable rutile and zircon in the heavy mineral concentrate along with leucoxene, ilmenite and rare earth element bearing minerals.
The deposit sits within a significant saltwater aquifer, suitable for the establishment of a potential low‐cost dredge mining operation.
RZ Resources is pursuing a strategic drilling program with a clear strategy to build reserves and resources to support a mine life to 15+ years.
